Standing Stones by Caelkriss Standing Stones by Caelkriss
I guess it's been a while since my last upload, so I figured I'd put up something new. Careful, don't touch it. The paint is still wet.

Started this one a long time ago, actually. Never quite had the guts to jump into it until now. I just wanted to make it as good as possible. You can actually see a very preliminary version of it that I uploaded a while back, which will be making its way to my scraps. You'll be able to see details pretty soon too. Enjoy!

Here's some info:
Original size: 33in x 14in (9900px x 4200px)
File Size: 221mb (flattened, uncompressed)
Medium/Programs: Blue mechanical pencil sketch; Photoshop CS2; Painter 8; Wacom Intuos 2

Edit: Upon request, here's an updated upload. The HUGE version.

absolutely brilliant!!
I really like your brightly glowing standing stones (mysterious portals?).

There are so many things to like about this work, such as the folds of the wizard's garb, and those sleaves are humongous. Don't think i'd like to play a game of cards with him.

Also, from the thumbnail above you are, for want of a better word, drawn in with your rounded horizon. You don see it much in the larger image.

As well as the grass being so believable, the clouds and sky so well done. There's too much to like about it.

Err, i guess the only thing that looks a bit comical, or rather out of place is that pink or magenta glowing standing stone. It just glows from cracks lower down making it seem a bit more different from the orange and aqua or blue stones. Perhaps it's also the shape that makes it look more unusual from the other two.

Anyway, the whole thing is quite excellent, and i'll be adding in soon to me favourites.
